Company History
2020
– Tony Peterson started Altilion as he saw great opportunities in the robotic mowing landscape. He saw that parts of Europe have as much as 50-60% saturation in the lawn mowing market, which foreshadows trending in the United States.
2022
– Paul Bunn purchased the business, refreshing the name to SmartYard. Husqvarna Automowers were the only product sold and serviced.
2023
– New dealer for Kress with the first dealer antenna on the west coast in Woodland, WA.
2024
– Joined forces with Samuli Vaananen as an equal partner in the business. Samuli has a decade of outdoor power equipment experience as the CEO of a multi-location dealership in Finland bringing a wealth of experience.
– New retail store opening in Battle Ground, WA in the Albertsons shopping mall.
