As a long-time owner and enthusiast of a business technology company, Paul Bunn (founder of Smartyard) was intrigued by the technological advancements in lawnmowers. Because who isn’t right? Gone are the days of going through the tedious activity of manual mowing when there are so many better activities to do.
Many times after waiting too long to mow, the remaining grass would be clumped up in the lawn in neat rows which would kill the lawn without removal. Traditional mowing would send grass debris into the bark dust and landscaped areas resulting in an undesirable outcome.
Modern robotic mowers fix these issues. The yard now is consistently groomed as it is continuously cut 1/8″ – 1/4″ at a time . It’s like hiring a dedicated lawn care company without the ongoing expense.
Paul recognized an opportunity to help people that wanted:

To Paul, it felt like nobody talked about the environmental positives of automatic mowing. Maintaining a healthy and thick lawn greatly benefits the environment as grass helps clean the air, decrease noise pollution and improve the soil. Taking good care of his lawn is his little way of giving back to the Earth, it could be your little way also.
